This is off a 94 merc 2.5 XRI 200 (the 135 on the back is a joke!!! ) Air holes have been drilled in front of cowl, and in back on top..."See pics" Inside of cowl has been gutted (lightened) Cowl is 7lbs lighter than stock... Cowl has some small flaws (NO Cracks) but over all is VERY nice for it's age... I do have front cover it is not currently on but goes with... This sale is for top cowl...

What differences are there between a 1991 Merc 2.5-200HP EFI and the same motor but with a XRi designation? Looking at a 91 2.5-200HP EFI motor very close to me, asking $4400. Looks like all the ignition components have been replaced and it appears to be well taken care of. Haven't been down to do a compression check yet, any idea what would be considered good? I just tanked a successful HOR heroic. No deaths or wipes for the group. Not T Rex im not talking about a lil plastic filter , i agree they are trouble ,Im talking a big sucker , i will try and find one and post a pic .I havent used one in 15 years or so .Mercury sold us one of the first Xri motors for a ski race boat , we had a lot of trouble as John says with the fuel deliver/ filters

Ditto on the Canon XRi. I have had one for several years, and what I love is that I can put it on "auto" and just point and shoot, and get really great pictures.
