I have done some searching over the past few days. Tell me if this is correct. The XCAL will only hold 3 or so tunes including the stock one it keeps as backup. Do you have to purchase these extra tunes from SCT dealers for like $50 a pop? If these are true then that doesnt sound very attractive to me. Is there a program that will let you edit you own tunes and load them onto a XCAL and then you ...

I have a used xcal-2 that was from my cougar. I reflashed the ougar to stock when I sold it, so from what I understand this should be unlocked and able to be used on another car once you get tunes made for that vehicle. $150 shipped obo and i do stress OBO lol. It will come in the original box and all. Packed up ready to ship.

Yes, you can break parts, but to do so, you have to really not know what you are doing and either jack up timing or lean it out or do something else without thinking.
