Ive been using xampp on my PC for quite sometime, but recently the database aspect stopped working.when i try to run phpmyadmin, i get the following error: MySQL said: #2003 - The server is not responding Connection for controluser as defined in your configuration failed. I have installed XAMPP 1.7.1 When I start apache I get the error: XAMPP: Starting Apache with SSL (and PHP5)... XAMPP: Error 1! Couldn't start Apache! Darn it... I did start it via a Windows-Applet which seems to execute it with a wrong working directory. I tried to start it from the xampp dir and it worked just fine. Thx for your help Best regards Brabax
