No, not LOTR, but check out Troll 2. It's kind of funny how possibly the best film ever made has goblins in it as well as possibly the worst. Here's Troll 2, free to watch on IMDb. Thank God a reasonable person showed up. I can't believe this movie is seriously rated as high as it is. The score is ridiculous, but I guess he QT, so he'll continue making movies to satisfy is foot fetish, love of Mexican standoffs, and Spanish/Mexican music regardless of what movie he makes.
