From Bob Basso (a.k.a. Thomas Paine) This venerable and much honored WW II vet is well known in Hawaii for his seventy-plus years of service to patriotic organizations and causes all over the country. A humble man without a political bone in his body, he has never spoken out before about a government official, until now. He dictated this letter to a friend, signed it and mailed it to the...

So did anyone watch this? Was surprised to not find any mention of it via search on this site. I recorded them all to my DVR and started watching them a couple nights ago. I burned through them in 2 sittings these last couple of nights/mornings. Riviting stuff. Some of the footage (which they claim alot of is never before seen) is pretty eye opening and really shows the true ...

http://www.history.com/content/wwii-in-hd/videos This is one of the best documentaries on WW II I have ever seen, and although I recommend it to everyone I want to say this is very dramatic so it may give you the willies. It is in full HD color and the images will jump right out of the screen at you. The thing that struck me first was the youth of the men, whom we of today see as ...

Best new docu-series on Dubya-Dubya Dos in a long time. Beautifully edited and woven together, it features [mostly] full color actual film footage with a poignant, interesting backstory narrative. The narratives span 12 individuals - from an female Army nurse, to famous war correspondents, to American pilots - including one of the Tuskegee Airmen - and even a Japanese-American G.I who, for ...

The Japans wanted to win the II. World War by Hightech against the USA. Scientific divers discovered 3 of the 5 Japanese super submarines near the coast of Hawai. The US-Navy was able to sink them there in 1945. Each submarine [I-14] transported on its deck, as the divers saw under water, two Kamikaze-planes fulfilled with explosives. The submarines would serve the war-planes as starting-ramps ...
