Thank god they got rid of that corny "freedom tower" name. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1_World_Trade_Center They should be at the 20th floor by the end of January and then will be moving at a pace of 1 floor per week. Should be pretty cool seeing the frame go up.

On October 21st at the University of San Diego, Mr. Dwain Deets, former Director of NASA Aerospace Projects, gave a multimedia presentation on behalf of nearly one thousand architects and engineers who cite evidence of explosive demolition in all three World Trade Center skyscrapers on 9/11 and are calling for a new, independent investigation into their destruction. These architects and engineers...

Horrible expression, and people only use it now because they think they're being edgy with the shock-factor. It's not a universally excepted colloquial un-pc term like "goin' postal" or "drinking the kool-aid." If people would use an expression with a bit of mystery to it, say 'like a 747" or something to mean "hot girl" (as in id hit it like a 747) it would probably catch on and not be seen as...

The latter was more tedious throughout, I suppose, whereas the former started with some genuine fizz in its opening scenes, before going equally flat. so happy to see someone who agrees with me about that.

That's awesome... I love skyscrapers. They're finishing up a new one here in Austin that dwarfs the rest of the skyline... it looks great towering above everything:

One-or-both of the following conclusions must be reached: 1) The Press in all its modern sophistication for ...
