Apropos of this thread , amongst others. World Government has been a popular feature of science fiction for a long time. Sometimes, it's been a good thing, and sometimes bad, and sometimes it's been precursor to the collapse of global society into barbarism. Most of the time, though, it's beneficial - even if more than a little cumbersome. Now, the first stages of world government seem...

"We will have a world government whether you like it or not. The only question is whether that government will be achieved by conquest or consent." (Jew Banker Paul Warburg , February 17 , 1950, as he testified before the U.S. Senate).

Worries about ...

It is about enforcing the LAW. A labarynthian system prone to being twisted into whatever shape the sneakiest lawyer or polititian / legislator can produce for his client. This applys to all it's branches, criminal,...

What are we going to do? I've noticed that very few changes around us are coming from individuals with good ideas to do something original, but are coming from further and further away,,, ie people who are far distant from the effects of their descisions. Even the Federal Government seems to be taking orders from some other entity, nothing originates with them.
