I also posted this on 9-5, but that board moves pretty slow, so I figured I'd post here as well. I currently work from home about 60% of the time, and I would like to make it around 90% of the time, with the exception of our 6-week-long busy season. My boss originally allowed me to work from home part-time after I had a baby, but I have an insane commute and I'm finding that I'm getting burned ...

It was a simple offer letter that stated pay and sick day information. It did not state anything in regard to what their policy may be on reimbursement for equipment and such. I know they will pay for my phone line and a 19.99 ish headset. But maybe I should ask to get in contact with the person who handles costs and ask for a policy statement.

My husband travels for work and works from home the rest of the time (mostly), so it doesn't really matter that much where he lives. He needs to live within a certain geographical location, but that's about it. I would definitely be willing to work unconventional hours, and thanks so much for pointing that out to me. I'm not sure how much that will matter for them, but it can't hurt, right?...
