Hi My 18 yr old son has secured full time temporary Xmas work which i know will affect our Housing benefit and council tax benefits but i can't find anywhere it says about how it will affect our working families tax credits. Can anyone advise please Thanks

Lol thanks Kimitatsu - you aren't wrong there i'm sure he will eat more than that over Xmas, hes saving ready for uni next year so we only want to take the bare minimum off him (ie as long as he does save it and not spend it socialising too much

I've heard they may lower the qualifying age to 55. Just how does that help the majority of working families? It doesn't. They know they have blown it and are trying to salvage the mess with the very smallest leakiest band-aid they could find.
