It is historically quite accurate. But the drinking, womanizing and SMOKING is quite depressing. The Kennedy/Nixon race is particularly well handled but comes later in the series.

I object to the term "womanizing". Folks who go to the gym five days a week aren't accused of fitnessizing. Those who enjoy walking in nature aren't called hikeizers. The whole term makes it sound like doing something wrong, when all we're doing is spreading God's gift amongst the female populace.
