I just read the thread about accidental discharge. Just in case you don't know, Wolff now has extra extra power firing pin spring ( 2 extra). This one is stronger than the extra power. It doesn't show on Midway or Brownell. check Wolff website : http://www.gunsprings.com/Semi-Auto%.../mID1/dID1# 816 I did install on my para P-14 several months ago even it's series 80.

I've installed Wolff springs on many of my revolvers, but this was years ago. I just ordered another spring kit for one of my Security-Sixes and was surprised to find that the mainspring was much longer than the standard stainless mainspring that came with the gun. It also was no improvement at all over the original. Since the spring was longer, I snipped abour four coils off it (what did I ...

Anyone use Billee Wolff as their Doula? How was your experience with her? Please share your story, as I'm thinking of using her as my doula . . . she's got such a super demeanor and way of handling things at my appointments at The Childbirth Center in Fort Lee. I'm also wondering how payment works,...

Wolff reduced power springs So I just got my 14 and 16 lb springs. Each one comes with a firing pin/striker spring. For those of you with expeience with these springs, do you change the striker spring every time you change the recoil spring? Or do you just leave the stock striker spring in? I'm thinking that the slide might ...

Anyone use them with success? I bought one just for sh*ts and giggles. Haven't had it to the range yet, but it seems really SOLID . Of course it has the Wolff spring which usually fixes most other 1911 mag related issues. Just curious, I'm expecting it to perform flawless, but you never know

Just installed a reduced power mainspring and put a 13# rebound spring in the S&W M 67-1. Everything seems to work okay (I've yet to go to range), but when I dry fire it it seems to make a pinging noise. DId I do something wrong, or is it the result of the new springs?

I was diagnosed with this last month and had a cardiac ablation on 11/6. Just curious if anyone has this, since I have a few questions about the practical side of living with this condition.

and it works and feeds just fine. The ends are tapered, unlike the standard m500 spring. It's either a Wolff spring I cut and tapered for a 1300 Defender or more likely it's a factory Mossberg 590 spring for a 20" 590 I had laying around. At any rate, it works fine. Guess you learn something new every day. I'll resurrect this thread if it binds up when I get the barrel for my PGO 500 and take it ...

Ok read the FAQ brownells trigger thing. Not going to do all their work, but saw the numbers and was thinking for what I want a 3.0-3.8 lb trigger pull I could get it done on my RIA. Well did some light polishing. new wolff spring kit, as in replaced all the springs (new to me firearm so I figure good idea, safety feels a lot more secure now, +4 inches on the pencil test, good ...

Picked up a couple of HKs last weekend and finally had the opportunity to fire them both today. Got a deal on the HK45 NIB for $600. This gun had the absolute worst DA trigger pull I've ever experienced. Picked up a couple of reduced power mainsprings from Wolff and installed the 10# spring prior to going to the range - factory is 14#. DA pull felt like about 9-10# and the gun consistently put ...

Got a 686P (7shot) 2.5" a couple of years back. All I have done to it is a Wolff reduced power mainspring, and a Pachmayr Compac Professional grip. Started with a Hogue hardwood grip, in the interest of tradition I guess you could say, but something about that tiny Pachmayr grip just seems, well, cool. That's all on mine, just curious as to who else has the good old Smitty Distinguished ...
