Ok, so I got my new card and I'm quite pleased with it, but W:ET won't display. It starts up, I can hear the music and the option clicking if I happen to hit one, but the screen is black I really want this fixed as its one of my fav games I looked on Google but it was all Linux problems? But I'm getting the feeling I'm going to have to drop a tonne of DX7/8 files somewhere ...

Heh I forgot its OpenGL :facepalm: its just that it stopped working just after I installed the DX11 update, but I also updated the ATI drivers lol Looks like ATI have done something with OpenGL support in the 5000 series, and after some jiggery pokery I found the problem, triple buffering. Worked on my 4670, doesn't work on my new 5670. Anyhow, its running now, doesn't look too ...

So I just got back to Wolfenstein Enemy Territory (completely free game) After few problems I finally got it running. Game ran perfectly fine. No lag issues, ping under 80 always. But when I shoot, theres a delay when the bullet comes out. Its like 0.1 secs. Its not that much, when you think about it. But in a fast paced FPS game like ET, its too much. It shouldn't be anything to do with lag...

sorry for my bad English, i have a problem with my mouse in the game "wolfenstein enemy territory" and also in the game "Americas army",the problem is in the first game menu, the pointer goes down to the bottom of the screen, and i cant continue. my distro is fedora 11 leonidas i586, i have a perfect choice mouse, 1gb ram, p4 2.26, kernel 2.6.30.9-102 thanks in advance

My computer is at its absolute limits in hardware. It had a pretty good run for 5 years but its about time to get something better. My main game I played was Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. Its all online based and open sourced so there are maps and mods up the wazoo for it. Plus its free to download/free to play, so that kept its appeal...

does anyone know which 32 bit libraries i need to install to get enemy territory working on my 64 bit installation? Edit: not exactly the best fix but i installed the proprietary nvidia driver which installs the 32 bit libraries and the i re-installed akmod-nvidia and everything works great.
