my daughter bought a used ibook g4 15" and it worked for several months before developing a maddening habit of shutting down without warning. I've read other threads about this with ibooks but they say it happens only when the battery is operating and doesn't happen when plugged in. If I simply browse the web or run an application or two, my computer's fine But when I launch games, such as Killing Floor or S.T.A.L.K.E.R, it plays for a few minutes, then just randomly shuts down. If I restart the computer immediately, it blue-screens. I have to wait a few minutes before restarting. And yes, my computer passes both the minimums and recommended specs to play the games...

I have this problem with my Vista 64. It shuts down without warning. It's as if someone has simply turned the power off at the wall. It happens that fast. This was mostly during the earlier days of the game, when it was difficult to communicate such things anyways. Typically items were made rare to add spice to the game.
