I previously used this Router with a Verizon Broadband USB GSM modem, but had to switch to AT&T (Laptop Connect with the Quicksilver GSM modem.) I can connect through the ACM on my computer while the modem is plugged into the computer, but the router doesn't want to cooperate when I plug the modem into it. I have a feeling what I need is to have the router send the correct ...

I recently purchased Dell XPS 435T running Windows 7 and have it hooked to a Verizon DSL/wirelessl modem (Actiontec GT704WGB). DSL intenet connection works well. So I decided to network my old computer (Dell 8250 running Win XP) using an old Dell TrueMobile 1180 (firmware 1.5.3.0). I ran the 1180 installation as described (install software, then hook up USB adapter). When I run ...

As per my other thread in this forum, I am looking for a good, easy to set up wireless modem. I never had much luck with modem/router combos. I think that from now on, I am going to go with the all in one option. I was looking at this brand new one. I already made the mistake of buying used, won't be doing that again lol. http://cgi.ebay.com/TRENDnet-TEW-...

My model I own seems to have wireless something... which I presume for modem. But however the antenna is missing so is it usable at all? I can't find drivers. Also I noticed there is "GSM" serial number so what does that mean? Also there's a place to put sim card?

Hi All, I need a wireless router that doesn't have a modem as part of it, however I'm not sure where to look for such a thing or really what I am looking for. Essentially I will be connecting to part of a larger LAN that I want to extend wirelessly. Any suggestions/any more information you need? Cheers, Kenny

It burnt up. Well otherwise died or something. And I am to big a noob at networking to get it to work with my WRT54GS router. It started flashing white lights and colors that the linksys tech help said he didn't even know it could do. But I ended up going with an Actiontec wireless modem and so far so good.
