I wonder why this match is never spoken of i think that it would be an awsome clash of styles and a fun fight to see i cant believe that the two sides have never spoken do you guys think that this matchup could be made and what do you think would happen?

Now I know im going to get bashed for starting this thread, but let in be known my man Winky was robbed on two occasions, was shamelessly ducked by De La Hoya and for some odd reason the fight against Hopkins was @ 170 giving Hops a big adavantage, Winky was never even 160 anyway So my question is...where is Winky?

I got Winky all day by dec. nobody could mess with this dude, he just one of those dudes like a james toney that just knows what he doing inside that ring. he is boring to watch only if your not a real fan of boxing. but if you are than you enjoy his craftsmanship

At the local Krispy Kreme.  Even if they were to schedule an opponent for November or December, Winky will have been 16-17 months between fights, and will be turning 37.  Ridiculous.   

He's a good boxer, He's never been knocked out., and he can make a great boxer look bad.  He lost to B-Hop, but B-Hop is the bigger man and the head butt did effect the fight.  Where does Winky Stand?

truth is,winky doesnt get his due, we all know that winky did his thing and won fights he wasnt expected to win, he beat top fighters, he also was ducked by top fighters, he was known as stinky winky due to his style, but in rality winky is a HoFer... and he is a p4p4 great fighter IMO, he didnt always have great showing and impress the crowd,but he was a winner...i always wished Oscar fuahgt ...

This one has been rumored for a couple weeks now. It would be an interesting style matchup, if not really a meaningful bout. Paul Williams is one of my favorite fighters right now. He lets his hands go in every round, and has a reach that is very difficult for fighters to deal with. We all know what Winky does. He's got perhaps the best defense in the game, which can make for some not...

I think Oscar would beat Winky with ease right now....not purely cuz he is so much better but because Winky has had too long of a layoff

I wonder if Michael J. Fox approves of this message. All kidding aside, I really didn't think the Obama campaign and its surrogates would drag this skeleton out of the closet for another week or so.
