Tank is leaking- does anyone have step by step instructions on how to replace? OK, so it's not as exciting as "how do you hook up a nitrous tank", but I'm very practical! Thanks!

Greetings. Symptom: pressing the front windshield washer button does nothing. No wiper activity, no spray. However, on regular wipe functions, the wipers work fine. Also, the rear wiper and washer work fine. Any ideas? Thx, J

I removed the reservoir and checked the hoses for clogs, pinches, and cracks. Also checked the tees. All seem good. I thought the next thing to do is apply +12v to the front pump. I hooked up my power supply, and I don;t see or head the pump, even submerged in water. Do I assume that the pump is not functioning or applying +12v not the correct way to check the pump? Is there a polarity? ...

With the build I took out that huge washer that sat on the firewall so I can easily get to the fuel filter and everything back along there. So I what I'm looking to do is find a small/medium sized tank that would wire up pretty much to the stock wiring so I can still have washer fluid. I've been looking on ebay for used tanks with motors and they're all big and bulky. What I would like is to...
I can hear the pump, but no fluid. Here's what I did for diagnosing problem: 1. disconnected tubing from wipers to make sure there was no blockage. Still no fluid 2. couldn't disconnect tubing from the bottle to make sure fluid at least flowing from bottle, so I removed the washer bottle completely to see what is going on a little better. Question: 1. Wasn;t expecting to see 2 ...

I had a similar problem last night. The check valve (very small black thing on the wash fluid line just before it connects to hood) was spraying all over engine bay. I deleted it and now all works as normal.

If it is a 964 it is not the same as an earlier car. they are removed by pushing straight toward the front of the car then lift the back . YOu can usually do it with your fingers. good luck

Yes, you'll have to get underneath or remove your bumper. Quite a pain in the rear, hence why I just removed it... And... While I was at it, I made myself a nice CAI that sucks up no water and lots of cooler air.

There would be one pump for the front washers, and a second for the rear window. I don't see why you couldn't apply 12v from a battery charger to test things out. If the motor is spinning but no washer fluid is moving, it could be as simple as some gunk clogging things up. You may have to start taking things apart at bit to find the problem.

My Old Renault Fuego came from the factory with WW fluid that smelled like Dewar's White Label - I wish I could find that stuff ... the WW fluid that is. Just don't get pulled over by the FuZZ after spritzing your windshield at 2 AM.
