Hi, So my warning light keeps coming on that my washer fluid is low. I check it and it indeed is low. The strange part is that I don't use the windshield washer; not once since I've had the car (about 3 weeks). I don't notice any water under the car. Has anyone encountered this problem? Thanks, Will

Hey guys, I was just checking on my windshield washer fluid bottle to check fluid level and I saw the bottle is in the passenger's side wheel well just exposed there. Is that normal? This is an 05 Tundra DC I bought used. Should there be some sort of protective cover or is that normal to just have the bottle out there waiting to get nailed by a rock or something from the tire? ...

Hi- Maybe someone here can suggest what I can do about this w/o having to go to the dealer. I have a 2005 Ion 1, and yesterday I went to use the windhield washer fluid and I can hear the pump working, but nothing at all came out of either of the 2 nozzles. I live in upstate NY, and it was very cold yesterday morning when this happened (maybe about 20 degrees F). So I filled up the ...

Slushy frozen reservoir, slushy frozen lines. I have the heater on it, poured some isopropyl alcohol into the reservoir, will that help or hurt? I'm planning to drain/siphon/pump the old fluid out, put in RainX orange. And if you live where it's not freezing, !!!!

I don't know how using the heat from your coolant to heat your washer fluid could result in a fire... and it will not crack your windshield, believe me I live in Minnesota and it gets cold here....like -40 degrees cold!

You have a leak in your headlight washer system "aliens". I disabled mine by removing the right front fender liner and plugging the feed hose which travels from the bottle over the fender arch and into the front bumper cover.

Checked out Walmart, Menards, Home Depot, and Shopko today None had any of the Winter Fluid additive. Will have to check out Advanced Auto Parts and Autozone next time. One of the "wonderful" things of recent history is how homogenized and product limited stores seem to be now.

I get that too and I never knew why but just as indicated--I noticed this after a few spirited runs . It comes up thru the squirt hole on the top of the lid/cap. I sometimes get a drop on the battery side too on the plastic below the windshield--not sure why(maybe I'm accidentally hitting the washer buttton?). I have not gotten the low ws wiper fluid warning though.

harryg , I wouldn't worry about waiting for the recall letter. Just call the number listed in those threads and give them your VIN. The CSR should be able to tell you if your Rogue is included. I haven't received a letter either but I called and was told my Rogue should be brought in for the steering column gear thing. Strangely enough, I did receive the letter yesterday for the CVT rattle. Not...
