I'll try to clarify my problem: The volumes I'm trying to mount are actually snapshots of a vhd. they are provided to me using MS volume shadow services (integrated with iSCSI target+vds on w2k3 storage server) when I do vssadmin list volumes , I can see only the physical volumes , not the shadow copies of the vhd's....
