I just purchased a new laptop. I went to my firewall to unblock it so that I can use the wireless on my laptop around the house. Every time I click on the firewall icon it says "unidentified error". How can I fix this?

Umm.......Should the ISA MP send an alert if the Firewall service has stopped on an ISA server? I would have thought so, but I can't seem to see any alerts for when this happens. Thx, John Bradshaw

I have been dowloading without a problem for months. Now when I try to download anything, I have no seeds. I also get the above message in the logger section. I checked my firweall and it is on and not blocking bit torrent. The only thing that has changed on my computer is that I had some window updates downloaded and installed. Can anyone give me some advice?

Eversince I switched from XP - Vista and W7 (both do the same thing) I cant update Windows whilst Windows Firewall is on. I know it's no big deal considering I can just turn it off and then Update it but it gets fucking annoying after a while. thats really random. 2 different O.S's doin it. must be something that your setting up wrong? and fury saying "you shouldnt have to add a exception" well.. you shouldnt have to do anything for windows to update itself except plug in the net, shouldnt have to dissable uac even if it is the worst invention in the world

Scollegati da internet,disattiva l'antivirus e altri programmi di sicurezza e dopo avvii combofix. De standaard firewall die bij Windows wordt meegeleverd vind ik voor gebruik binnen een bedrijf geen grote toegevoegde waarde. Meestal zet ik ze gewoon uit. Voor sommige computers zou ik een andere firewall gebruiken waarbij veel beter het netwerkverkeer te filteren is.
