I just got the Titan Goliath with the Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 1.5TB SATA-II 32MB Cache and on the Windows Experience Index it gets a 5.9, therefore my Base Score is 5.9?? Surely it should be more than this as my old base score was 5.9 and it is 3 years old. Any advice?

Since I have upgraded from Vista 64 to Win 7 64, I can not get the Windows Experience Index to run without the graphics card being reset a few times resulting in a index score of 2. I have changed the Nvidia driver to the most current to support my GT220 card. Any suggestions?

The Windows Experience Index is a hardware scoring system (on a scale of 1.0 to 7.9), first introduced in Windows Vista. This unique value is calculated by performing various tests benchmarking CPU, Memory, Graphics, Harddisk data transfer rate etc. The base score is determined by the least of the sub scores received for each hardware component. I am only getting a 3.7 in the catagory of graphics on my new xps 8000 system. It has an ATI radeon 4350 512 mb card and I think this is an ok card. It says under graphics "desktop performance for windows aero" with a score of 3.7 The different catagory of gaming graphics is a 5.8. Not that I really care about a number but do wonder if this is telling me something that I could improve ...

for some strange reason, my windows experience index reports that my graphical score is 6.0 for a 5770 crossfire setup (in windows 7). im pretty sure it should be much higher considering it would hit 6.8 with my old 4670. anyone else having this problem? edit* nevermind, it was an issue with the recommended driver not installing properly. now its at 7.3. ...

Of course , but the differences is small it's depend on the mainboard ,video card, and memory 。 if there isn't any bottleneck , the better CPU is a good choice! but the most important thing is CPU matches your mainboard .

I think I have a slightly different problem on 64-Bit RTM Windows 7 systems. The test won't start. It does not apear to be related to a file and I don't go to exotic addresses. It works on my Lenovo notebook and not on my Extreme. Windows Seven can detect that the system is not setup right by the parameter in the control board (system) "Under Contol Panel | System the display shows "The ...
