I can not figure out what is going on. We have a "new" 06 Right Approach with a Side Winder winch. We are going through winch line way too much. The line is flat in 2 to 3 weeks of being installed. The truck is run by me and one other guy for the most part. We do rewarp when needed. The bottom layer is flat and not just "spots" the whole thing and some more wraps on the second lay. Thanks ...

Smokin' Po Boys is across the street from the courthouse in Winder. This is one of my frequent barbecue fix locations, and it earns my certification as a real barbecue joint. They have a pretty wide barbecue menu, but I almost always get the ribs, which are dry-rubbed spares. Their chicken is very good from the one sample that I have had. I sometimes do the pulled pork, which is usually my ...

Looking for a reasonably priced two or three place watch winder of good functional quality. I'd rather not pay a bunch for "museum quality" cabinetry. I've worn out a cheap model but still can't see spending a grand on a winder. Any recommendations?

Yarn winder? I just started knitting about half a year ago and love it and do a lot of it but I don't own a yarn winder yet and was curious about them. Are they really a must have for yarn workers? What is a good one for a decent price (preferablly one I can get at Joann's with my GCs) and what is a yarn swift? TIA!

Any leads on a good, stable wooden (yarn) skein winder, table top or floor stand-alone model or clamp-on model, with a sturdy manual hand crank in Taiwan, other than the Ashford store on Zhongxiao Rd.? (Just to eliminate confusion, I'm emphatically not looking for a 'swift', a plastic and/or metal winder, or a niddy noddy.)

A friend and I have recently purchased a pick up winder. We're looking to get some suggestions as to what some DIY-men might be looking for in a custom/hand-wound pick up. Obviously, we have an idea of what we'd want out of our equipment but do plan on producing some of these for sale. So, lets have an open discussion about all of this and perhaps we'll be able to produce them for you guys at a ...

I finally picked up my new DJ a week before Christmas and wore it every day monitoring its accuracy. While it was running within spec, I was hoping it would do better ..... it was running consistently +4.0 seconds a day, I tried laying it down at night both crown up and crown down .... still it ran +4.0. I received a watch winder for Christmas which I used for the past two days and it is now ...

I'm picking up my brand new GMT Master iic on Thursday. I will be wearing it most of the time until I finish Xmas break and return to work when I'll wear my normal daily beater (which is a replica GMT master iic ! which keeps suprisingly good time btw) My question is do I buy a winder to keep it 'fully charged' or just leave it on it's side whilst I'm at work? I will probably wear it most ...

Marathon CSAR 2008 contract has an easy 95% TZ rating worn around the house time is well within COSC specs +2 seconds over a 48 hour time frame kept on a winder.
