So my dad hit something on the highway in the Focus and now the car is leaking oil like crazy. Just got underneath and noticed a nice 2" crack in the windage tray. Anyone have one? Marty?

With a NM rear sight base, it appears that I can convert my windage clicks to 1/2 clicks with a NM windage drum. How is this possible? What is the difference between the standard windage drum and a NM one? Wouldn't it make sense to use a finer thread aperture screw to acquire NM accuracy? Afterall, there are only so many detents in the sight base, how could changing the knob really ...

is proud to introduce a new innovative product that will help aid in reducing windage in the crankcase of your VG30DETT. Parasitic draw is one of the leading causes in loss of HP and TQ production when building a high output engine. The most common form of this is windage. Windage is defined as: During normal engine operation a significant amount of oil adheres to or becomes entrained in a ...

Not sure if this is the right forum but I didn't see anything better so here goes. I found a ballistics calculator on biggameinfo.com which is really nice. I filled in the data and left the wind speed at 10 mph. I hit the calculate button and got a real nice spreadsheet. There's a column for windage and base on my data, the windage is 3" at 100 yards and 7.1" at 150 yards. I ...

4 days ago i did the most stupid thing, while adjusting the windage on a GP 461 green laser with a wave length of 532nm - 10mw i managed to flash myself in the left eye for just a fraction of a second, the laser hit my eye from less than 4 inches away from my eye , this laser has no side dial adjustment but a very awkward front adjustment using an allen wrench, to center the beam. Whats ...

(Picture from manufacturer ) I have two sets of Centurion diopter sights. They are the older style, where the different turret settings are for different ranges (open sights, 200yds, 300yds, 400yds), rather than larger aperatures. They are adjustable for windage and elevation. They properly cowitness with AR optics (Aimpoint, EOTech, etc). One was mounted to a rifle but was ...

I am learning alot about scope mount systems and my rifle has the Redfield system with the front dovetail/rear windage screw. Some people have problems with the rear windage screws coming loose when shooting. My caliber is a 30 06 on a fairly heavy rifle and was wondering if this is going to be a problem. I don't want to change anything if I don't have to. Here is a pic:

My father's rifle from the 1980s has a one piece Redfield scope mount with the dovetail and windage screw system. I took it into the gunsmith for new Leupold rings and he installed the scope and put new screws in the base. After doing some research on the Redfield mount system I was getting information that the windage screws can come loose resulting in the rear ring coming loose. This happens ...

Hello: Just purchased a CZ rifle in .22 Hornet with a Weaver Scope attached. On front bell is CT 6, and Micro - Trac, The parallex adjustment on the front bell is from 50 ft. to infinity. Both front and rear bells have screw dust caps. Windage and elevation adjustments are in 1/8 in. increments. On the underside is (SN ?) 49995, 6X40 and Japan. Questions: I believe this is a target scope and ...
