I am searching for a Win2000 driver for PCI Conexant Softk56 fax data modem. I tried the generic one, but results are not good. It works but with a loud noise while connected. Does anyone knows where to find a good driver? Thanks for your support John

In C:\WintNT\SoftwareDistribution\Download there are many folders with files that I would like to delete. Is there any reason to keep these? The files are named by long series of numbers and letters with no extension(s). Are these just taking up space or does Win2000 use them from time to time? jc ....

Hi Folks; Neither of my domain controllers can reach the default gateway even though it's properly defined and there are valid forward and reverse records in DNS. Pinging the DG results in...nothing. ! Every other machine on the network can ping the DG. All machines are on one LAN segment with one default gateway....
