i thought that crops are not supposed to START wilting until a period equal to their harvest time?? the example listed in the "help" page says that a 1 day crop will start to wilt AFTER day two. here's why i am asking: - at midnight, i planted my entire farm with blueberries (300 plots), these are 4 hr crops, so they should not have begun to wilt until 8am, by the logic of the ...

On one of my plummies the leaves are beginning to look a bit sad. Maybe it's just end of season droops, and they may be getting ready to drop off. The look and feel very dry and limp, altho I have watered recently. I don't remember them looking like this at the end of other seasons. Any suggestions? Thanks a bunch, Lauri

Lauri, Just don't get fooled into thinking they need more water if they look droopy..Many would have a tendecy to water even more, thinking they are dehydrated. Sometimes they can be droopy from root rot. If you cut the leaves off, then having to water is not such an issue, you barely have too, in fact a relief. Just make sure the soil is dry, at lease a few inches deep before you give...

I don't care what they say Liz. You'll always be great in my books. The game made me think. Nothing like a woman who's willing to brawl. Gina Carano, Leiticia Pestova, great looking but even moreso, not some wilting flower. So, which ladies get you revved up when they throw down?

Hello, I have a question regarding a wilting orchid flower on a stem...only it's the top flower on the flower stem, not the closest to the stem. From reading, that seems to be backwards from a normal wilt. They have been fine since June, when I got it. I am concerned about the light but I don't believe I have overwatered them, but it's possible. Have you ever seen this condition and know what I ...

My mother's purple passion had been doing well, then a couple of leaves turned brown and fell off. No more leaves have turned brown, but all of the leaves are wilting. She's been watering it like she was told to. Please help us save our plant. Answer Robin, You said she was watering like she was told to, how was she told to water it? It should be allowed to dry out between waterings. ...

I bought some basil already potted from Whole Foods. Set it by a bright, sunny window in my kitchen. I watered it by putting water in a bowl and putting the plant in the bowl. Waited for it to dry up before repeating. The leaves are turning brown and wilting. What did I do wrong? Are there herbs that are made for growing inside? Any particular ones that are just too difficult? What tips/...

QUOTE (mur27 @ Nov 2 2009, 12:09 PM) and i have put a bucket of water in, a full jug and watering can but this does not alter humidity at all because of the fan/filter sucking the air out!! This is a really bad idea mate, having standing water in your grow room will only encourage mould to develop. And you don't want mould. Wilting is often caused by poor watering schedule, as ...

I don't use any fertilizer once the plant starts blooming. Nor do they need a bunch of water. You are giving them over 2 quarts per week. If they were getting one inch of rain per week, that would be about 40 ounces of water (if I've done the math right). But you are giving them about 70 or so. A quart or so a week should be enough. YMMV, Mike
