This has been said but I will repeat it. Holding down D does nothing on a Power PC Mac. D is for Intel Macs. You found your original DVD's that came with your Powermac G5 correct? On all the G5's I have worked on, with Disc 1 in the drive, power on and hold down the Option key right at of just after the Startup Sound. KEEP it down and a bootmenu should show up. Bodogh gave the Dual Disc to me when he hurt his shoulder and I wouldn't give it back. Now it is all mine!! I have it set up with 2009 XTR levers, dual 2009 Avid BB7 (185fr 203rr), and magura wavy rotors (amazing power). I will probably change to 160fr 185rr because the braking power is just too crazy. Using Shimano 5mm shifter housing and it's not squishy at all. Nice clip by the way! Dr...

If you have a wide mouth that will fit a 2" or even a 1" power sanding disc that would work for the bottom. You may need a extension to reach it. Normally I make sure the inside is sanded before I remove it to finish the outside bottom. I sand with sheets as far as my finger will reach then use a long forceps that has sandpaper wrapped around steel wool. Most generally I only go to about 150 (100...
