Remove all Advertisements My brother recently had his spare suspension (from a 2008 250 2 stroke ) set up and put on his 2009 yzf 450. Now he doesnt want to ride a 450 anymore. But the suspension is great. Will this suspension work correctly on either a 2009 or 2010 yamaha 250f? Thanks

Ok i have a 1993 2.8 5 speed s10. the 2.8 just isn't cutting it any more. i really don't want to do a 350 swap. i want something that will get decent gas mileage have good torque and be easy enough for a cave man to swap in. I just need to know what engines will bolt up no problem to my t-5?

I don't think most people will bolt until they get their divies. As far as shorts, I never bought that theory, but Pink Sheets says there's over 1,000,000 short shares! If you shorted it at a penny and it's 2c, you now owe $10,000. Not the end of the world, but certainly incentive to play. Those are reported shorts, don't know nothing about the other kind.

I have a 3.8 turbo Regal, trust me, don't even attempt that swap. Its more involved than you can imagine. What trans do you have? 200C (3 speed) or 200R4 (4 speed w/OD)? Both are pretty weak transmissions. Heck, I blew up built BRF code (GN spec) 200R4s with my turbo 3.8L. Motor depends on how much work you want to put into it. Personally, best bet is a carb'd Buick 350. You could ...

engine is from a 1979 ford f-150 4x4, it has a rear sump oil pan and will not bolt up to c-4 tranny i have, so i'll have to find another tranny . '82 200cid has late Windsor pattern that is compatible with most engines. List of Ford bellhousing patterns - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

sounds like you've got an eccentric tap centre in the hole. The tap drifts just enough to make the ARP stud, ( thats built to a much tighter tolerance then 99% of the factory fasteners ), lock up. Not really anything you can do to fix that other then OS the hole as mentioned above, or take the head to a machinist and have him retap the hole on centre. edit; the hole might also be stretched...
