I am skint, got made redundant and have got time on my hands. Our bathroom has an old pale blue/green suite in it and i have seen a complete set in Wickes for 200 quid. Its plain white bath, toilet and sink and comes with all taps/ hardware etc. Are these products any good ? I know you get what you pay for but with 2 kids in the house as long as it lasts 3 or 4 years i will be ...

Does anyone know who supplies Wickes kitchens and whether you can buy direct from them? We are currently renovating an old house and as it's a money pit we are trying to get trade discount on a kitchen but Wickes don't seem to offer one and their Heritage kitchen is our favourite... This makes their kitchens very expensive against eg Magnet who we can get a 60% discount off... Any help/...

I've been relistening to the commentary on the Anchor Bay Special Edition DVD of the 1988 Michael Caine drama Jack the Ripper with director/writer/producer David Wickes and researcher, Sue Davies. Both Wickes and Davies are quite insistent that the then embargoed Ripper files were being systematically gutted of information by people unknown prior to their public release. Conducting ...

Promised to do my mum's downstairs loo over Christmas... it's a bit out of date now. So off we went to Wickes to check out some prices.... £1600 for one set? What? Where can you pick this stuff up for a reasonable price?

I need a new handle for my patio door - looked on the b&q and wickes websites, but they don't seem to sell them! Does anyone know somewhere that does in the S6 area.

When I access Digital Spy or perhaps it's just on the forums I get to see an advert from Wickes. Fair enough the site needs income. However to me there's something strange about the ad. The products being promoted , central heating items, are exactly the same items I looked at on the Wickes site a few weeks ago when my heating was playing up and needed repair. Now is this ...

OK, so my new kitchen is fitted, I have an oven and a hob and dishwasher and units, but we've got one last problem. The dinner plates are too big for the Wickes wall units by a cm or so They're nice plates, and rather than get a new service, we want to figure out a way of storing them. One idea from my OH is to get a cheaper wall cabinet. The idea was since the Wickes ones have ...

Our landline packed up a few days ago and my daughter found the likely reason is; a cable under a carpet that has been crushed flat over the years and the conductors laid bare. No problem, I thought, off to Wickes and buy a few bits and pieces - soon have that all replaced. Not so. All the websites I've looked at talk about having a master socket as the first item in from the street. My ...
