Hi- i've been mostly a lurker here, but now could really use some advice. My 14 mo son has had what I think is mild wheezing the past day or so. We've been using a nebulizer, and i think it's working, but i'm scared that i don't know what i should be looking for. I hear him breath out - and it sounds kind of rattley. He is very active, drinking, eating etc. He was coughing last night,...

Hi. I have been lurking here for a while. My ds who is 15 months had 6 episodes of wheezing last winter with the last one ending in June (all viral induced). Previous to the June episode, the pediatrician kept on saying bronchiolitis. He did wind up in the ER once and on prednisone once. He had two colds since June with minimal wheezing. Well, our good luck has ended. Yesterday he ...

The last week, Mia has started making this wheezing noise. Her belly isn't pulling in, and it doesn't really seem to bother her, but it's just kind of this wheezy noise when she gets excited or when she reaches for something. Twice, she has coughed afterward. A few times she has sneezed after. I'm taking her to the doctor, but do you think it's anything ...

We just bought a puppy four days ago and I am regrettably looking a tmaking the decision to bring him back to the breeder. He is a wonderfully intelligent Miniature Schnauzer. He potty trained after 2 days and has a mellow personality that is just perfect for my first time dog owner family and the whole family has fallen in love with him. However, he wheezes and has these little contractions ...

From day one I have been telling people that I heard a wheeze from my LO. They told me in the hospital that it was because he was a c-section baby and that causes congestion. Then at 2 months when I was still hearing it I mention to ped. and was told the same thing. At this point it wasn't something that I heard all the time so I started second guessing myself. Now that he is bigger and more...

My 16 yr old was diagnosed with asthma at 14 months old. She never had it severely; usually a nighttime cough and nebulizer treatments. Lots of sinusitis, tonsilitis, strep, bronchitis as a toddler; by the time she was 5 she didn't seem to have any asthma symptoms though. Once she reached puberty though it reappeared. She is currently on Flovent as preventative and uses ProAir as inhaler, ...

Fred Plops For Reparations Sells Out To Johnny Cochran Technology columnist for The Washington Times I see by the papers in the Yankee Capital that Johnny Cochran, and of course Jesse and Al, are wheezing and blowing like a county-fair calliope with a leaky boiler. They always are. This time it was about the need to pay reparations for the ravages trala of slavery...

When I hear about someone far off being sickened by a vaccine, it is one thing. Unfortunately this time it is one of my co-workers who contracted some disease immediately after taking the shot. She was sneezing and wheezing and had a bad fever but managed to finish out the day. Unfortunately after about 5 hours I began to have problems. At the time of this writing I am not sure what is wrong, but...

I don't think I am normal anymore. I quit smoking 4 months, 3 days ago. Cold turkey. Pack a day habit at (the least) for about 20 years. Yes, I loved smoking. Just like you all. Gradually over time my breathing became harder and harder. I was wheezing all the time. Bad cough. If the weather was to humid - forget it. I couldn't even go outside. That is so scary to me. I am only 37 yrs. old...

Hey All, I am new to this Forum and I'm glad to be a part of this Forum.I came to know about my asthma one year back. My asthma gets worse when I feel stressed. I start wheezing heavily and my breathing starts to get labored. Does stress trigger asthma?

I have been coping with what my doctor thinks is LPR for about 2 months. It began with wheezing, throat clearing, chest pains. I started aciphex (20mg) once a day and some of the symptoms subsided. But after a nasty cold (lasting nearly 3 weeks), a new symptom arrived: dry cough, tickle in throat. I also still have the need to frequently clear my throat. 3 days ago, we doubled the aciphex dosage...
