Hey All, My reat stut housing are labeled "B" for the wheel bearing spacing tolerance, however I dont have the spacers... There in lies my question, might any of you boys have spacers from a B housing and a set od dial indicators to measure them and post the dimensions. That way I can make some on the lathe. Or better yet if you happen to have a extra set from "B" strut ...

I have been kicking around an idea I had about front wheel bearings. Why cant we have roller type bearings instead of these expensive crap ball bearings? Provided you could find some with the same inner dimension as the spindle and a race the same size as the inner dimension as the wheel hub I dont see anything that would stop this from working. The axle ...

I'm just curious about how fast the spacers wear the bearings. I've read about it but want to know what everybody else's experience has been. I imagine that there will be a difference between 5mm-30mm. Anyone run 30mm? On another note, I got a set of 20mm that work just fine on my alloys, but the wheel studs stick out 10mm so my snow tires on steelies won't fit flush to the hub. I got ...

Just to start, NO I DON'T HAVE CRAZY OFFSET WHEELS. They are 17x7.5 +48. Since that is out of the way...my front PS wheel is making a 'rubbing' sound, almost like a quiet fender-liner rub. It matches my vehicle speed. Nothing seems to be rubbing on the tire or brakes. It seems to be a little tight at times (I notice when at a SLOW roll). What else should I check? I haven't taken ...

I have a 2008 Aura XE 4-cyl, now at 28k miles. The last few hundred miles, I have been hearing an increasingly louder gear-like whining noise that varies with vehicle speed. It's noticeably louder when steering toward the right, but disappears when steering left. This seems to be a classic case of a front wheel bearing gone bad. Anybody else experience anything like this at low a mileage? ...

Hello Everyone I have a Rover 220SD and over the past month, there's been some noise from the rear on the car which seems to get worse if you have passengers in the back and when you corner. Is this a worn bearing or something else? Cheers in advance Stonny

How often should the wheel bearings be replaced? I've got 177k miles on a 2000 Tacoma with no idea if they have ever been replaced before or not. Thanks,

It sounds like a broken belt in the tire and I needed new ones anyway so 4 new Pilot Sports later the noise is still there. I am assuming it is a wheel bearing, has anyone replaced and/or experienced the noise? -t

2003 Altima 3.5SE 110K I'm in the process of compiling a bunch of service parts for my wives car. I'm going to be doing front rotors and pads, struts and strut mounts (serious banging), and now I find the front passenger side wheel bearing is bad (going to both though). Possible the rear rotors too. Has anybody done the front wheel bearing repair? I know you need a press but the...

Hi guys, As some of you may know i've replaced the rear wheel bearings and loads of suspension parts on the back of my Supra. I had the MOT on thursday which it passed (hooray!!) but there was an advisory that both rear wheel bearings had slight play. I was a bit surprised as obviously i've just replaced them with new drive flanges too. I've just jacked the car up and gave it the top to ...

I need to replace my driver's side rear wheel bearing. I already ordered it, and am waiting for it to arrive in the mail. It seems rather straight forward up to the removing and replacing of the bearing. I am looking for confirmation and advice. I already looked over the car and was able to break the axle bolt loose, as that my biggest concern. Checked all the sizes of the bolts I need to remove ...

I wanted to put out there if anyone has a wheel hub/bearing for the front passenger (right) side they are looking to offload. Don't really care the amount of miles or anything on it, just as long as there is no play in it.
