Hey All, My reat stut housing are labeled "B" for the wheel bearing spacing tolerance, however I dont have the spacers... There in lies my question, might any of you boys have spacers from a B housing and a set od dial indicators to measure them and post the dimensions. That way I can make some on the lathe. Or better yet if you happen to have a extra set from "B" strut ...

I have been kicking around an idea I had about front wheel bearings. Why can’t we have roller type bearings instead of these expensive crap ball bearings? Provided you could find some with the same inner dimension as the spindle and a race the same size as the inner dimension as the wheel hub I don’t see anything that would stop this from working. The axle ...

I'm just curious about how fast the spacers wear the bearings. I've read about it but want to know what everybody else's experience has been. I imagine that there will be a difference between 5mm-30mm. Anyone run 30mm? On another note, I got a set of 20mm that work just fine on my alloys, but the wheel studs stick out 10mm so my snow tires on steelies won't fit flush to the hub. I got ...

Just to start, NO I DON'T HAVE CRAZY OFFSET WHEELS. They are 17x7.5 +48. Since that is out of the way...my front PS wheel is making a 'rubbing' sound, almost like a quiet fender-liner rub. It matches my vehicle speed. Nothing seems to be rubbing on the tire or brakes. It seems to be a little tight at times (I notice when at a SLOW roll). What else should I check? I haven't taken ...

I have a 2008 Aura XE 4-cyl, now at 28k miles. The last few hundred miles, I have been hearing an increasingly louder gear-like whining noise that varies with vehicle speed. It's noticeably louder when steering toward the right, but disappears when steering left. This seems to be a classic case of a front wheel bearing gone bad. Anybody else experience anything like this at low a mileage? ...

Hello Everyone I have a Rover 220SD and over the past month, there's been some noise from the rear on the car which seems to get worse if you have passengers in the back and when you corner. Is this a worn bearing or something else? Cheers in advance Stonny
