Thought I'd share some quick pics of a paintjob I did today. Weyland-Yutani is the fictional mega-corporation from the Alien series of films. They are amongst my favourite films so I thought it would be fun to make a "Company" sponsored livery. The company is an Anglo-Japanese corporation so that influences the design plus it seemed to work better on a Japanese car....

The other day I was watching Harm's Way , an episode of Angel that starts with a Wolfram and Hart training video. In the video, they mention Wolfram and Hart's links to other major corporations, including Weyland-Yutani! I've always thought that having the aliens spreading across the Earth kinda like the early Dark Horse Aliens comics would be the most logical step instead of Alien 3 and Resurrection. While the idea of an Alien Universe Comedy of Manners will not leave my head, the other idea 'eighties urban decay' movie. Set in on a more urbanised colony, one with an atmosphere. Drug dealers, homeless religious cultists, corrupt cops and evil japanese corporate executives. Why japanese? look, just run with it. Have the 'LV-426 incident' come up on newscreens at the start of the film...

You're reading too much into it, OP. The company is indeed your typical evil multi-national corporation (ala Weyland Yutani) but their firepower is a private military force, not any one nation's military power. ~ A humble reflection before the onrushing descent is he; Not able to turn back, anymore.
