I'm faced with migrating a massive file server from iis6 to iis7 (on folder for each of our users to store documents). I've figured out how to programatically migrate data, create virtual directories for each user however, I'm having trouble figuring a good way to add WebDav authoring rules. I'd like to add one authoring rule per virtual directory (more secure than how were currently configured)...

We have been using sharepoint's webdav feature (explorer view) for a while, but copy large files from sharepoint never works. Large files here means files larger than 50MB, I tried to install hotfix  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/953473 , tried to set the chunk size to 150MB. Has anyone succeed in copying large files? Could someone help me out?(we are not using MOSS).

Hi,   is it possible to retrieve Hidden Content from Inbox with EWS e.g. Storage Messages? I tried it with FindItem but get only the Items which I see in Inbox.   I also tried it with WebDav, but can't get a connection to my Exchange 2007 Server. I use it with OWA. I have an own application in IIS.   Microsoft said that we should always use EWS to write own applications?...

No you cant access hidden items (or deleted items which you can search for but not access) using EWS. You need to use either MAPI or WebDAV on 2007. You should be able to use WebDAV on 2007 make sure you are using the Exchange Virtual directory not OWA. The OWA virtual directory is only for the OWA asp application which doesn't use WebDAV. The Davex.dll which handles WebDAV communication with ...
