I've searched high and low for this type of inquiry and came up empty handed. Basically from what I gathered, if I grab a Prepaid cellphone from walmart thats from Bell. I can purchase one for $48 with a $15 credit. My idea is to add the $10 unlimited web browsing plan, along with the $7 unlimited incomings, then sign up to voipstunt.com and add about $10 in credits. The initial ...

On my Kindle 2(an International version for Canada) you can access wikipedia but not other web sites. Wikipedia is accessed through the web browser. Since the web browser is on my Kindle 2 and is somewhat functional then would it be possible to create a hack that would not block access to the web for sites other than wikipedia? Presumably there is some software that is ...

Why is browsing on the Hero so bad!? Even compared to my old omnia its poor... If I am in an area with good reception or on wifi its 'OK', but not great. When i get the train home pages just fail to load because of the varying signals. Compared to an iPhone the browsing is dismal at best. Does anyone have any tips to speed up the web browsing speed? I am running the latest ...

Can anyone tell me why I am having problems with web browsing while I'm on a phone call? I ask because I was recently on a phone call and was trying to use the web browser at the same time and had incredibly slow page load times.

I'm sure cached webpages has been asked of before, however If that's too lofty of a goal, I was wondering if you could have a patch for TRUE multitasking with the browser app. It seems when you get out of the browser app (or even the google maps app) for longer than a few minutes or so, the webpage just remembers the web address and then refreshes itself when you go back to the card. This is ...

No local shops, it's a small town. I've looked on ebay which seems to contain a miriad of faulty laptops, it's difficult to whittle out the working ones, I'm getting thousands of hits, there's all sorts of crap on there. People are listing spare parts and all sorts within the laptop category.
Hello there, Recently formatted the hard drive and reinstalled Windows XP Home Edition using the HP restoration CD package that included some form of Norton antivirus. Started by updating Windows to SP3, removed any Symantec stuff I could find through Add / Remove programs and installed KIS 2009. Made web browsing so slow I have to disable the protection to get anything going. I ...

Not had any problems using the standard browser. Works fine for me, I often sit watching tv browsing the net on my phone rather than sit in front of the PC.

I have always thought CDMA would be Verizon's Achilles' heel (it renders their air cards useless), and it may be that of the Droid, as well. I love the Droid, but Verizon's use of sub-par technology is a significant hindrance.

It might have run happily on 256MB out of the box, but after 5 or 6 years use it will be full of junk and unlikely to run anything smoothly without a bit more RAM. Clean install at that age is the best solution.
