Our condo recently had a flooding issue due to an icemaker. There was standing water in the kitchen where tile is located and in the bedroom where carpet is on the floor. It is possible that the water could have been there for at least 4 weeks. There was mold growing on the tile and base boards. Question is: Is there a chance if the tile was not sealed properly that the mold could be found under ...

I dropped my 8900 in a cup of root beer last night. Wiped down whatever I can, took the battery out, and let dry overnight. In the morning, I was able to turn it on but the keys were not working. I've washed it with 91% alcohol (just they key part because that's all that got wet) a three times and the blackberry turns on but the keys still do not work. I know I know I shouldn't keep the ...

I dropped the iphone in the toilet...barely for 1/2 a second ...but it definitely got wet. Now it works I think entirely except the speakers aren't working, and the back light isn't coming up. I put it in rice in a warm place over night to dry it out. And I've connected it to my computer and am trying to restore it. Any other advice? I'm not sure that the restore is working.....it seems ...

Just wondering how to fix slight water damage? I did find about and foot and half of the side the cabinet that is slight raised form water damage. But is still very solid and is not breaking or anything. I can hit it and nothing breaks or comes off. It is just slight raised from the rest of the wood. I was wondering if I could just sand it level with the rest?

iPhone 3G - Water damage, Error 28 when restoring My beloved iPhone 3G got wet while sitting in my pocket during a heavy rain shower. At first, I didn't really see the harm (it was just wet, so I wiped it dry) since it was still working. But about an hour later, I got it out again and noticed that the screen was flickering (...

I was thinking about purchasing an iphone 3gs once my t-mobile contract expires however I've read so much about people being scammed by the apple store because they "claimed" the phone had water damage. So I wanted to be prepared. How did you prevent your phone from having water damage? Did you purchase any products:ie rubber stoppers or such to prevent any ...

Okay, so inside my Verizon LG enV2, there is a little white liquid damage indicator behind the battery. Instead of being completely red or completely white, its white with little red Xs. Does this mean it has water damage, or not? I can't tell, because typically they turn completely red if they got wet! Thanks.
You have no recourse whatsoever. Too much time has passed and the inspection report makes it impossible to go after the previous owners or the agent. And frankly your parents were aware of the problem and ignored it at the time so there is no recourse whatsoever. Even if there was, it is very clear that your parents are not the types who would pursue it. The real estate agent is soley ...
