What is a good (in both price AND quality) water block for AM2/AM3 (I currently have a Phenom II x3 720 BE, I'm looking to get an x4 965 125w soon) Will the Swiftech Apogee GTZ fit? maybe even the XT? Also: what is a good all around site to purchase all the equipment? I would prefer to get it all at the same place to save on shipping and hassle. I ...

hello, I'm currently using the Swiftech Apogee GTZ and MCWNB Max blocks. When I had assembled my new system, there was a fault with the motherboard and I had to RMA it. I left the water cooling system intact, with the blocks loose inside the case. I used the Arctic silver Arcticlean product to clean off the thermal compounds from the blocks. I used the one labelled TIM "remover" but not the ...

I'm kind of torn, and would like your opinions. I'm not very happy with my loaded cpu temps during stress tests, and am starting to blame the Koolance CPU-350AC water block which has been proven to be a bit restrictive. The only block that beats the Koolance one in any test is the HeatKiller 3.0, which I also own. Here's the issue. The radiator inside of the Koolance ERM is aluminum, which ...

PC water-cooling components specialist Danger Den is almost ready with its water-block compatible with AMD's upcoming dual-GPU accelerator codenamed "Hemlock". Almost, since the base-plate of the water-block has already been designed and molded, which makes for most of the product in itself, requiring only the top, its sealing, and fittings. The monolithic, full-coverage block base is made of ...

Brought my egg in yesterday for its timing belt change. VW dealer calls me up today, to tell me that the water pump bolts were seized into the block, and that they had to drill them out or something along those lines. They told me that they need to order new parts, so they need yo keep it 1 more day, and to expect 3-5 hours more labour on my tab. What I didn't like at all, is that they said ...

I added a water block to my Saphire 4870, but now when I boot computer the card doesnt work anymore. I can only run windows when I uninstall the radeon driver. Most likely I damaged the video car at some points when I was removing the heat sink and adding the water block, but I want to make sure this is the case before I buy a new video card. Any other possibilities that might cause this?
