A friend of mine said his hot water does not flow as freely as the cold in all of the faucets. The heater is not that old. Any thoughts on a cause? Thank you for your input.

for unvented cylinders I would expect a min of 1 bar dynamic or running pressure , & a min flowrate of 20 litres a min ', your flowrates are at the min' i would go with storage . you could of course use an accumulater with an unvented cylinder , which is a way of storing mains water .

NCGS 156-24 gets close to a bull's eye, but misses the perfect mark (as do many of the statutes in 156). Most of the statutes specifically call out a swale, canal, or ditch...none of which typical overland sheet flow ("runoff") can be described as.
