Interesting issue here. When the 1985 635CSi (Imported) that I was working on today was through with its bleeding I took it for a spin. Things were good until I returned to the garage and the car would not roll, put it on the lift, all four wheels were tough to turn. All new brakes around, bled cause of new caliper. When everything warms up, brakes drag all ...

Engine Idle Issue - Only When Warmed Up I have a '90. Once warmed up, if you hold the idle at 2000 - 2500, it will start going up and down +/- 500 to 700 RPM. I've detected this because sometimes while driving if you're in gear around that RPM you can feel the issue as a surge/bog condition. Any suggestions? Would a vacuum ...

Thanks, Mike. I've taken a look and will give it a try. I've used the garage section many times in the past for everything from convertible top replacement, to replacing shocks, CAS seal replacement, etc. I should've looked there for this as well.

99 sf5 miss only when warmed up I have a 99 forester with a sohc 2.5 and it has a miss only when it comes up to operating temp. It runs fine until then. It had leaking valve covers so i adjusted the valves while i was in there, also put new plugs and wires and no change. Anyone have any ideas as to what is wrong? I guess my next step ...

A miss only when warm/warming up/cold can also be a sign of a bad head gasket. Coolant can weep past the HG and cross the spark plug causing a miss during what ever temp rang the hg leaks at due to the head and the block expanding at different rates. The coolant can pass over the spark plug and short it out, causing a miss. My '03 baja had a bad hg(cometic) after a rebuild, it only leaked ...

I recently was given a 1993 F150 4X4 with the 4.9L I6 and a MT. It has 172k miles on it but did not run when I received it (has been sitting for 2+ years). Diagnosis indicated a no spark condition which was remedied by repairing the wire terminal on the negative side of the primary coil connection. Combine this with a set of spark plugs and it started and ran (albeit poorly). Further ...

With your added info, my next guesses % wise would be a dirty IAC or a hanging injector. Or dirty injectors in general causing poor fuel atomization. Poor fuel quality as mentioned, sure wouldn't work in your favor. Two of my favorite products are Lucas Injection cleaner & Seafoam. There is always a noticeable improvement & the Seafoam is fun to use (you'll see what I mean!): How to Seafoam an ...

o-rings are made of rubber, these shims or little washers are made of metal & much thinner. some jet kits for sportbikes have them to tune the needle position as they tuned to the lean side to pass emissions. just 1 washer/shim should be able to make a noticeable difference.

"Something Picasso? He wont amount to a thing! Trust me! He wont..." I agree...but I have to admit in the 7 screenings of TITANIC I attended and the 2 DVD viewings I had with large groups...EVERYONE cracks up at that line. Like EVERY TIME people were LOLing. And don't get me started on the spitting contest, people in my cinemas were wetting themselves! I mean people were applauding ...

True, but I did it for all 3 of my kids. The important thing is to shake it well afterwards to equalize the temperature and then dab it on the inside of your wrist to test the temperature before giving the bottle to the baby. I wonder if the burglar has younger siblings.
