I know the newer model P99's have models such as QA,AS and whatnot,i know what they mean. I want the AS model,i like single double. What are the older models prior to 2004?Are they single double?or just double only? Thanks

I just recently purchased a Sig Sauer 226 (two-tone) and was having my Walther P99 as my duty sidearm for five years. I may have to choose one over the other as I have to leave one for home defense and the other for duty. I would just like to know if there were issues of either one being a duty sidearm. I have read that Sigs had problem with weak springs or something..... or have you had...

I have a very nice WALTHER P99 with 2 10 rnd. mags. I have the original sales ticket,box,foam,trigger lock,owners booklet and a Uncle Mikes sidekick holster. This gun has had 100 rnds put through it and looks brand new. Looking to trade for a nice deer rifle with a scope. 30-06 would be my prefrence. Hey all, Got a .40SW P99 with the AS trigger. I want to use it for carry and I like the CTAC holster. The only problem is, there are three options for the P99, Generation 1, Generation 2, or "P99 Slide". Which one would I want for this? Thanks!
