There is really no other way to begin this review than to remind everyone how much I have been anticipating this issue. Everything else I write is based on that simple premise. First of all if you haven't read issue #50 then I will go ahead and say the painful truth, lower your expectations. It really isn't worthy of the hype that it has been given and it is a bit of a letdown for a 50th issue....

Did anyone have trouble getting a copy of this? I walked into my LCS and they had 5 copies of the variant at 9.95 each. Did your store have many copies? How much did they mark it up to?

I have a run of Walking Dead for sale. I am missing the 2 and the 18. I also have an extra 5. For the most part these are nice high grade copies. I haven't read many of these past issue 20. The number 1 is the lowest grade of the bunch at about VF/NM. I am asking $270 plus $15 shipping. And I'll toss in the extra number 5. Thanks Scott

The last two issues have been some of my favorite in the entire series. I find it really fitting that issue 50 wasn't treated as anything other than a normal issue of the Walking Dead. I don't know that I've ever actually enjoyed an X-title I've ever bought, which is sad, because I like a lot of the characters. Only pseudo-X-man titles I really liked are Deadpool and Great Lakes Initiative (slash X-Men, Avengers, Champions et cetera).

im upset with my LCS now, they also for whatever reason never ended up getting in my copy of 47. and i had to read my friend's copy like a schmuck. *sigh*
