Having endured over six weeks of constant performance problems, leading me to wonder about the technical ability of PlusNet / Waitrose to provide a service, I have also hit on some pretty fundamental failings with their customer service organsation. This covers such basic errors as people not passing messages on to their absent colleagues, incorrect information being given on ...

My last word on this. Phone call last night (taken by my son,as I was out) from Waitrose to confirm that the Saltash (Cornwall) store is now fully stocked on SIRCO. Remember, they didn't stock it before my visit last week so I have done my small part in introducing this very pleasant and healthy drink to the Saltash catchment area. Must be why this stock is the only blue in my portfolio ...

Here in Otley--Yorkshire we have a nice new Sainsburys that has only been open for a few months. We have an even newer NETTO. These now sit alongside Waitrose with a Branch of Morrisons, Booths (an upmarket northern supermarket)and Tesco all within a five mile radius. We also have a great huge Asda at Harrogate which is nearby. I reckon my little northern town must rank among the best for food...

So my boyfriend and I have decided to make a hamper for the dreaded Inlaws! So far I have a list of wine, ales, cheese, chutneys and nice bread. Is there anything else you can think of? There's a french shop near me, and a Waitrose that we'll use! Doesn't have to be overly Christmassy!

When I first tried Ned 2009 SB I found it rather rough and not as good as the 2008. Trying it again tonight ( in Majestic)it seemed much improved an as good as the 2008. So was this variation in my critical faculties ? Doubtful IMHO as I tried them side by side at similar temperature a month ago. Was it bottle-to-bottle variation ? Ned is now made in big volumes so could well have been a ...

Best salted in my opinion is this: http://www.ocado.com/webshop/product...r=SEARCHbut ter Fresh Guernsey Butter. Likewise, i do not like the french salted ones wit flakes of salt in it, so this Guernsey one is perfect. All round salted, very creamy taste yet hard.
