Does anybody know the itenary for the wren boys today or have a link? Google didn't help. Am interested in when and where they'll perform in the Salthill/Knocknacarra area tonight. Thanks CC

"Obviously, Melky Cabrera gives us a player with postseason experience -- most recently, obviously, in the World Series this past year," Wren said. "He has the ability to play all three outfield positions. That versatility helps our ballclub a lot. WS 4 13 1 2 2 0 0 0 0 0 0 3 0 0 .154 .154 .154 .308 0.33 Yes, if we make it to the world series, we can count on Cabrera to strike fear into the...

Wren has balls. He has orchestrated the assembling of one of the best rotations in baseball, and he is making Atlanta more active in free agency than they have been in the past. I think Frank Wren will get the Braves back to being a perennial contender. I think picking up Troy Glaus was brilliant, he adds power and leadership to the Braves. So what if he doesn't pan out, has a Braves first ...

http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2009/12/braves-rumor s-low.html#comments Clubs were wanting us to eat HALF of Lowe's 45 million. This article also mentions that the Yankees were the only team willing to trade for a pitcher making more than 10 million. If all this is true, Wren for sure made the right call on which pitcher to trade...and he made out pretty well in getting 3 solid pieces in ...

I think it's safe to assume that when it comes to Atlanta Braves fans, the verdict is still out on Frank Wren. Before he's thrown overboard, here are just a few things to consider... There is still such a thing as setup moves. Sometimes you have to make a deal or two to put yourself in position to make the move you really want. This is without a doubt, what we witnessed this morning with the...

All the bashing is crazy. Wren knows what he's doing. Yes, it would have been nice to lose Lowe. But don't lose sight of the facts. Derek Lowe and Javy Vazquez have always been pretty similar mid-upper rotation caliber pitchers. In the first half of the season, both were similarly effective. The fact is Javy Vazquez had a career good year, and Derek Lowe had a career bad year. Odds are, Javy ...

If Wren does the trade javier/logan for melky/dunn/unknown prospect I will loose respect for the guy, wren ahs done a OUTSTANDING job for this team thus far, but if he pulls this trade off i will loose all respect this is such a stupid move!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unless he now makes up for this by signing Holliday the Braves will $uck in 2010. At this point that's really the only way this team is any good at all. Wren has completely butchered this team. Before today I would never have said we had to have Holliday. I thought we would be just fine picking up a Juan Rivera or something of that nature. But now...after Wren has completely screwed the ...

GREAT ANOTHER MEDIOCRE HITTER, .274 and 13 HRs! WAY TO GO WREN! GREAT JOB. You just traded the Braves best pitcher from last year (who had cy young votes mind you) for a POS hitter. Why did you purposely screw over our organization like this. I don't want another freaking POS hitter on our team. Keep Vasquez and just call up Schaeffer and Heyward if you're going to pull cra-p like that. How...

Shows you how old I am ( I know I don't look it ) . Made a fortune years ago going door to door singing and making serious money. Hitting on a pub was like discovering a vein of gold. Would love it if a wrenboy or girl called right now.

Failed at trading Lowe, making him mad at the team, which makes him a problem next season.. traded one of our best pitchers for Melky who isn't a power hitter, which we really lack of. Good Job and Thank you.
