Has anyone experienced their main seals leaking a little when using Wix filters? My '97 Quest did and now my '06 Malibu. I just did an OC that was the second OCI with Wix in the Malibu. The leak is not enough to notice on the dip stick or drip on the ground, but enough to notice on the oil pan below each of the seals. I've also even noticed a little oil at the top of both the oil filter ...

I have been thinking about going off the Toyota 90915-YZZD3 reservation and have been doing research here ( Toyota Tundra Forums : Tundra Solutions Forum - Search Results ) as well as direct via manufacturer's online sources. I'm looking to 1. maximize filter volume, and 2. move to a smaller-micron filtering capability. I don't put on a lot of annual miles (~5,500), so my OCI is ...

Question for any of you who are familiar with each of these and have used them for your website development: 1) Are they all about the same, any particular advantages of any of them? Have been playing around with Wordpress a little. Overwhelmed by the vast selections of custom theme templates available! WWWHHHHAAAAA! Looks like Blogger will let you use your custom domain name at no add'l ...

As a VW/Audi guy, I'm curious whether anyone has tried a MANN W67 filter on their Element as a replacement for the stock part. The specs seem to interchange with the factory part as well as the WIX 51356 and Purolator L14610, which are apparently good choices as aftermarket substitutes for the OEM. The Mann/Hummel products are well thought of in the Vdub community and are OEM ...

I have experienced lower than normal oil pressure changing oil and filters Had a Wix filter and pressure would drop to 15# idle and max of 40 at RPM. Changed filter and pressure is back up to 20#+ at idle and 50# at RPM. I put a NAPA Gold filter on(made by Wix) and about 500 miles later I noticed pressure dropping again. I have to use the stubby smaller filter because of frame clearance....

This is a fill of 4.5 quarts Amsoil ASM 0W20 that I put in November 1, 2008 with a Mobil 1 filter (believe M-103 but will check the number on the filter again). Air filter was stock filter, replaced this OCI with a wix filter. I still have the oil filter if anyone wants it cut open. Ran 1 year. Probably 90% of it was severe service, 1.5 mile drive to work, sit for an hour then drive on to the...

I was in Walmart yesterday, and noticed that the FL-400S is significanly shorter. It says "new size same performance". I may need to change over to a Wix/NG for my next change on my Windstar. Anyone else seen this yet ? It still appeared to be a Purolator with the threaded end bypass.

2005 dodge diesel, dello 400 with wix filter. Say I went 5,000 and then drained 1 gallon and added a gallon every 2500 miles after, how long would you go before a filter change and a complete oil change.
