I thought it will be useful when I am in a situation to strike a man of one who is taller then me. I asked my sensi for Advise but unfortunately he didn't knew ...

I've pretty much made my mind up to get back into this in the new year. Are the training nights still on Tuesday and Thursday? I want to drop in and watch a session or two before I sign up again (haven't done MA in four and a half years).

I'm not sure if it was to much this waza or that. But it certainlly could be.Also, each prefecture is different for what their requirements are. Even with kata and some minor points. For example, my third dan test in Saitama, they had a clear outline of the requirments for san dan. One of the big sticking points was that you had to show oji waza. And this is at san dan. Dekote, kaeshi do, ...

Up is Waza for skill levels. The higher it is, the more likely you are to get skill levels, and like Waza it effectively limits how high your skills can go when fighting a specific monster.

Still, and this is where I stumbled in my effort too, what is the metaphorical "spine" in Aikido waza that, in "flexing" reaches it's target? Regards, cdh...
