Ogg Vorbis has become my preferred format for music that is intended for any portable device that I own. Why doesn't it get more support on mobile handsets? This has become a huge selling point for me and going forward, I will not purchase a handset that will not allow me to play those audio files. Currently, I am using a Treo 755p with Pocket Tunes. The most recent Palm offerings do not support ...
Hello, I am curious whether the cowon iAudio 9 has support for album art embedded in vorbis comments. Are such files being played at all (my current meizu m6 sl doesn't) and is the album art displayed? It isn't easy to find that specific info on any player, so maybe someone who has access to the iAudio 9 could give this a try. Like the site and am looking forward to a review on this ...

>I do not care much for genres myself, but I am curious what you see >when browsing albums sorted by genre. Do you then see multiple instances >of one album (one instance for each genre that album contains)? Or is >some sort of "album genre" applied in this case? > Each album apears only once. I think it chooses an arbitrary genre for the album (first genre on the first song?). I've ...

QUOTE (Tim De Baets @ Nov 20 2009, 02:29) Nice to see that the problem is already fixed. What was the codec pack that you initially had installed? This information might come in handy if other users are experiencing similar problems. The DAP really shouldn't read the album artist from the BAND tag, this tag has a different purpose. ALBUMARTIST is much more suitable, and is the de ...
