Light has struggled against speed rushers at times. Vollmer for a big guy is more athletic, and quicker feet. I don't think Light is getting his job back if Vollmer handles Freeney, who Light has had a problem with. Should be an interesting match up.

I really hope he can reach his potential. We've had quite a few European Born/Trained players that have gotten close to making it big time (Mayers, Ritzmann) and now Vollmer has made it, I hope he can be a stud. __________________

Even Tom Curran said this evening he does not know how Pats can replace Vollmer with Light when or if Light gets healthy. Next week against Freeney will be a big moment for this kid. He received little help today with Porter and stuffed him.
