I appear to have lost my voice control menu, the Mic is missing from the map screen and the icon in the menu id geyed out. Tried the usual hard reset etc same prpblem. Any ideas? Its a Go 940 _________________ Lift Tester/Adjuster

Hi guys, Last friday i bought a E90 320d. I'll have the car by next week or so. Now i was wondering if i have Voice Control, since i have NaviPro and two buttons for VC (one on the steering wheel and another next to the iDrive-controller). The seller told me it did, but when i pushed on the VC-button on the steering wheel i didn't hear a *blip*. Note: the engine wasn't running....

It will more than likely reset the "support_ASR.dat" file contents to the value of 1 as this file can become corupted with garbage or a 0 in which case ASR won't work, hitting the restore factory defaults will put this file back to what it should be - This is an educated guess, but I cannot think of anything else a restore option will be able to fix to get this working again - Mike

The first, second and third thing is to develop your singing skills and microphone technicues. Then the effect used for taming volume jumps is compressor. I recommend you go to tweakheadz.com and read the guides there. There's a lot of info on all things concerning home recording....
