How does it work? Does the voice chat work by P2P or something? Or do we all connect to a central server and use that to send the down/upstream data? What I'm really getting at is, can I mirror steam chat through bigpond so when I'm steam voice chatting while I'm on MW2 it doesn't get counted to my monthly quota?

Steam voice chat reducing volume in-game Hello, I remember setting my steam voice chat to reduce the volume of in-game sounds when it was active. However, I don't want this anymore and can't find where to change it? Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Issue 1: Attached rear surround sound speakers to my system, they work great, AC-3 and other 5.1 and 7.1 things are working beautifully. No surround sound in DDO. I notice that there's a "Speakers on Realtek Digital Audio" in the sound device drop down, as well as my original setting, "Generic Software on Realtek Digital Audio". I for one don't think it will voice chat in personal spaces is spotty at best and it doesn't seem like they have done anything to improve or change it since the last official word we got about it way back in April

Well, im thinking in buying a console for myself and i just love to socialize in games. Ive been trying the 360 of one of my friends and I think that the fact the console brings the mic out of the box is great and ppl seem to use it alot in almost every online game. I'm looking for a new software download for video/voice chatting and to make international PC to PC and PC to telephone calls. My mic doesn't seem to work with yahoo messenger. After the server went down Last night it seems that the in game voice chat feature has stopped working!
