Okay, I went to see my Dr today - second office visit since surgery. My weight was checked, I'm now at 198 (yippe!) and vitals were done - can't believe my pressure is so low 100/60. Anyway, I received my first B12 shot today and scheduled my second fill for Tuesday 11/10. The injection was given at 1:30 today and I'm not sure if it's all in my mind but I can't seem to sit still. I went ...

I was diagnosed with Scoliosis in 1976 aged 15. I had a fusion done in 1979 which was reasonably successful. However, the rod loosened several months later and I had to have it removed a year after the fusion. I was left with scar tissue and constant pain and was put on NSAIDs and acid-suppressants to protect my stomach. Nothing much changed for about the next ten years. I then married and had...

Me and my partner have been talking about having a baby. Â In march I had blood work done. Â My b12 level was 200. Â they said the normal was 1200-1500. Â I had to take shots for six months. Â If I was to get pregnant with my levels that low, could there be something wrong with the baby? Â What are the chances that something could be wrong? Answer Hi Beth, Low levels of vitamin b12 puts you at ...

I was checking my vitamins and that's the amount of vitamin B12 in them. Is that enough or do I need more? Someone told me I need 2000 mcg which is why I ask.

Which would help his little system out best? Other suggestions? He does not react well to citrus fruits, so I avoid giving him even fresh squeezed OJ. I have never given him B12 or Vitamin C (I'm thinking crystals, right?) 2 nights ago, he was frequently swallowing while lying in bed, just before falling asleep and just after nursing. It scared me ...

The general guideline I read was 250mg/kg body weight when sick, which works out to 1.1 grams per 10 lbs body weight. That said, my kids needed a heckuva lot more, but we've got some health things going on. When I started, I wrote down dosages and times so I could keep track of how much I was giving the kids (mostly my son, he got sick a whole lot more than my daughter), but after a few colds, ...

Is there a quick guide to minimum supplements needed to start MB12 at a low dose (1mg)? I started at this dose last week. jumped up to 10MG two days ago, then quit completely and i am feeling badly. I just found your site! I think I should restart @ 1mg MB12 daily. I am sleeping only an hour or so at a time and 3-5 hrs per night since i jumped up, stupidly. I've seen the information thread....

Hi Jess, What I'm really wondering is whether some people who have Scoliosis, and who later develop folate/B12 deficiencies, have both their conditions as a result of undiagnosed (and mild) Homocystinuria. Usually this condition is obvious at birth and is linked to Marfan type symptoms. However, for those who only inherited one defective gene, they can have a much milder form of ...

PeterleeFlower, I have never used Vitamin B12 myself, but many say it works for some and others it does'nt make a blind bit of difference. Whatever you use it might not work for you, you can only but try different remedies people give as advice as its all to do with the odour our bodies give off, that the mozzies decide if they like you or not, I'm afraid....

I have the same problem with most vitamin tablets. I have spent a fortune on tablets that give me headaches. The trouble is they are just not as pure and healthy as we hope they will be. Mine need to be gluten-free. Even though the bottle says free of wheat etc. it is other additives and fillers contained in them that will give me a severe headache lasting several days. Whiteners, fillers, ...
