I can't stand this! A custom type I made (nothing special) is being used in another type (wow man) it used to compile but now it doesn't (I HAVE NOT CHANGED ANY CODE!!!!) I get the error The type or namespace name 'Node' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference? I published my C# application using Visual Studio 2005 to a server. I then ran the setup to install the app on my computer ... no problem, app runs fine. Then, I had another analyst in the office do the same to their computer ... again, no problem and app runs fine. Hi We have recently updated our development enviroment to using Visual Studio 2010. Our TFS-server is still running 2008. Are there any "well known" compability issues for this combination? We have ran into a few problems, so far. 1. When I double click an *.xsd file in Visual Studio 2008 I only got the markup code. When I rightclick and choose “View Designer” I only got a blank page. I’ve tried to repair the installation and installed SP1. Any tip what can be done?

What's the difference in Visual Studio Pro 2008 and Visual Studio Pro 2008 Academic? I've noticed the full versions of Academic Edition are a lot more reasonably priced on ebay than the full versions of standard Pro 2008. It's making me wonder why anyone would spend the extra cash.
