I've been using Virtual PC 2007 for a few months, and it works great with Microsoft operating systems (obviously) but i need to know about VMWare server . If i go with Linux, I think it might work better with VMWare. Can any one tell me how does VMWare server compares to VPC 2007?

Hi. I downloaded and installed KB958559, which is Windows Virtual PC, in hopes of using Windows XP Mode. But after installing it Windows Virtual PC doesn't appear in my Start Menu. I've tried reinstalling it but it still doesn't show. What is wrong? 1 person needs an answer I do too

I just upgraded from Windows 7 Home Premium to Professional. I followed the instructions to install XP Mode by downloading and installing XP Mode and then installing Virtual PC. I have a problem that the virtual pc xp mode doesn`t want to start I get an error that say: Cannot start Windows Virtual PC while another virtualization software is runing. Pleas close the other virtualization software and try again. But no other software is on for so far I know. Thx voor help and for your time.

What will it take to spoof or hack the Windows Experience Index in a virtual pc session running windows 7 or vista? I have seen some file hacks when the files have been created, but win7 will not create the files to be hacked.

I bought 7 Pro for the XP mode, and have yet to get it to install. When 7 was released I did a clean install 64 bit version. My version is 6.1.7600.
