I thought Virgin 1 was 24/7 on Freeview. Just checked here in London and it says programmes start again at 9am; yet EPG is showing programmes on now (as of 6.40am).

There's already a thread about Virgin1 not being 24/7 any more, its been like that for a while now! They've sold off their unprofitable hours to another channel, in a 'time sharing' deal. The thread is here: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s....php?t=1149 842 Quote: Originally Posted by NEWLINEtv Virgin 1...

[quote=ProDave;35700721] Just about the only use for the freeview tuner, is to give you the few terestrial SD channels that are not available on freesat, such as fiver, fiveUSA, Virgin 1, dave etc. QUOTE] Have you never had your satellite picture break up in bad weather conditions? Freeview covers that problem & a freeview pvr (Humax 9200T) backs up any recording...

This may of already been answered in some way but I'm not sure, anyway this is my first post so go easy on me. I recieve my freeview from Crystal Palace and have never been able to recieve anything on Mux A (FIVE, QVC, Virgin 1, Bid TV, FIVER, FIVE USA), so with Five and ITV4 swapping will that be the only difference in the channels I'm able to recieve after the retune?...

As mentioned by person a few posts above, Sky HD has around 30 HD channels, Virgin only have about 6. The Sky+HD box looks a lot nicer than the V+HD box, and you get to keep it so if you cancel after 1 year, you still get the freeview HD channels such as BBC HD, Ch4 HD, and Luxe HD. Only thing you miss going to Sky is "Catch up" and Sky's answer to this is "Anytime...

The normal Freeview channels are not On demand, but if Balamory is on Bt vision system, which it is as I had a look on their web site, then yes, it can be watched when you like. Virgin 1 is on freeview. If you want Vision or not depends on what you want and how much you want to pay. If Sky have unbunlded your exchange then you may be better off getting ...
